Reflection

So now the problem is with the sound, since the specific type of music that goes with whatever genre this film is supposed to be is unclear to me, I basically have to guess what music and effects to add because I'm not very well versed in sound and films. The problem is that I need the music to be subtle, and I also can't find much that I want. It helped a lot when we were showed how to edit the different volumes of specific bits of the sound. Garageband is really annoying, however, because you can not search for types of music like, for example, "build up beat" or something like that. Luckily I've found a few things that I like and think work.

(Well, I forgot to post this, and now I'm not sure what else I was going to say, but I'll still put it up, as progress.)

Reflection

I feel much happier about my film now. Since having the idea of adding more to the storyline and then learning how to add effects the whole task seems more much interesting. All i have to do is add the title and credits, if needed, then hopefully I can find some really well-suited sound and effects to add when we put it in garageband. The only problem left is really getting it finished on time, but since there is so little left to do that probably won't be a problem.

Music - The Shadow

Adventurous, magical, creepy, dark, strange, unreal, danger, unexpected, un-settled

A movie with a goal in mind that will lead the people into danger, strange things occur, traveling is involved

Volume becomes louder as tempo speeds up, the end becomes much softer but darker,
suggesting that something new is happening or about to happen

Woodwind, strings, brass
